In a shocking court ruling in France, Internet auctioneers EBay have been asked to pay LVMH $61 Million in liability fees to luxury products company LVMH. The Louis Vuitton / Moët Hennessy (LVMH) group is the owner of the prestigious brands “Christian Dior”, “Kenzo”, “Louis Vuitton”, “Céline” and “Moët & Chandon” and other famous European brands.
This pioneer ruling comes in over the issue of fake duplicate products of original merchandise made under the LVMH banner was found to have been for sale in unprecedented amounts on Ebay.
