AOD Student Wins Triumph Design Award
Triumph, the leading ladies innerwear producer in Sri Lanka recently held the Sri Lankan round of its design competition for the “Triumph Inspiration Award”. This competition (inaugurated this year) challenges students from prestigious design schools to create a conceptual showpiece set on the theme: “Female Fascination”. In its Sri Lankan round over 30 contestants from the from the Academy of Design and the University of Moratuwa took part and the winner immerged from the former.
The winner, Yasintha Jayasekara (Academy of Design) will have a chance at winning a 15,000 Euro cash prize and the award from its international round in China where it will be presented before a panel of internationally renowned panel of Judges. She will also be able to meet the rest of the 26 competitors who had taken part from many internationally–reputed schools of design.
